ADSA was established at the end of the 2006/07 season to give disabled Arsenal supporters a collective voice and help make following Arsenal more accessible, inclusive and enjoyable.
ADSA’s role has been recognised across the wider supporter community. In 2016, ADSA became a full member of Level Playing Field, before becoming an associate member of the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) in 2021.
Since then, ADSA has worked closely with Arsenal on a wide range of improvements to the disabled supporter experience. These have included raised viewing platforms, RADAR access to accessible toilets, ticketing and away-match arrangements, as well as wider accessibility, inclusion and matchday issues affecting supporters with different disabilities.
Our role goes beyond individual improvements. ADSA provides a channel through which disabled supporters can raise concerns, share their experiences and help shape discussions with the club. The ADSA Chair represents disabled supporters on the Arsenal Advisory Board, while other Committee members contribute to club forums and panels covering areas including EDI, ticketing, matchday experience and women’s football.
Over the years, ADSA has also worked with Arsenal on specific initiatives for disabled supporters. In 2017, this included helping to increase the accessible ticket allocation for the FA Cup Final against Chelsea from 50 to 103 tickets. More recently, following Arsenal’s Premier League trophy parade, ADSA worked with the club to help provide a dedicated celebration giving disabled supporters an opportunity to share in the occasion.
A new Chair and Committee were appointed in October 2025, beginning the next chapter of ADSA’s development. Today, we continue to represent disabled supporters independently while working constructively with Arsenal, other supporter groups and organisations across football to improve accessibility, inclusion and the experience of following the club.
